Community Interest Company, established in 2024

Building on my MA in Art and Social Practice, in 2024 I co-founded Tiree Makery CIC, an artist-led social enterprise.

Rooted in the community, Tiree Makery aims to build on the island's cultural landscape through workshops, exhibitions, and events. We are committed to delivering a year-round programme of creative activities in our multi-functional workshop and gallery space, supporting artists in producing and selling their work, while also offering high-quality arts experiences to the community.

Throughout the development of Tiree Makery, I focused on the conditions of practice and production, carefully considering the methods, ethos, and values that would guide our new arts venture.

Our mission is to generate collective resources and foster creative practice as a tool for social and cultural development within our community.
